Hear what the community says about PML
We are very happy and don’t take it for granted to have such a great community spread across all these different channels. We love how you guys help each other out, review tracks and release killer tracks. Let’s hear from some of you.

Ben Böhmer
Ben Böhmer - Berlin based producer & live act. Cercle stream
"If you want to learn how to make a track in the style of my song 'Vale', then check out the course on Production Music Live. They explained everything using only Ableton Live and it's really, really interesting. Go check it out!"
Johannes Menzel
Johannes Menzel - Techno Producer from Berlin Germany His song "Retaliate" got played by no one else than AMELIE LENS, UMEK, and many other top Techno DJs right now.
"When I heard the samples from the Deep Premium Pack II back in the day I was instantly hooked and knew I have never heard better sounding and better fitting drum samples for the sound I wanted to do, but could not quite get together. After I bought the first samples I fell in love with some synth presets, before I took all classes on sound design to make my own sounds. In the meantime we started cooperating and I have access to all sounds and samples (which is great), but I also contribute a lot of templates and samples myself. I am very happy for the opportunity to present my sounds to the big PML community and hope everybody out there now feel about my packs how I once felt."

“Hope you are doing well. I just finished your intro course on PML and the lesson was just great. I spent over 1000€ about 2 years ago at “XXX” and I came out with nothing. With 50€ that I paid for the course on PML I have 2 finished tracks within 2 days, something I have been trying to do for years. Thank you!”
KENNY
“For anyone wondering if buying the full PML package is worth it.. It is!! Incredible. You guys are the best. Thanks!”
JASON
YOUTUBE
“Bought the full bundle. Never bought anything before, but decided to widen/deepen my Ableton horizons, especially in more melodic techno styles. The courses are really STEP BY STEP. Looked everywhere to get me started in this genre: only PML offers it. I’m not being sponsored or anything: it’s worth every dollar as inspiration (and “Savoir faire”) is paramount.”

Course Overview:

What You Will Learn
- Using your hardware within Ableton Live
- Setting up your hardware and Ableton
- Deep knowledge on patching, modular synthesis & the Ableton CV-Tools
- How to sync everything latency free in your setup
- Recording your analog jam to Ableton

Let’s first get familiar with the scope of this masterclass, get to know your instructor and get a tour of the used analog synths as well as all needed settings in Ableton Live.
MODULE 2 - THE ELEMENTSGet an extensive tour on the separate Modular Elements we use and the basic functions of each part of the rack - that is also super revealing if you just started out and do not own any of these modules. You learn about the VCO / VCA, filters, sequencers and effects and of course how to patch them right.
MODULE 3 - THE CONTROLThis section gives you quick recap on what parameters usually need to be controlled, why MIDI is still the standard for most types of communication between different instruments and systems and how CV (control voltage) differs. This gives you a deep understanding of why the new CV TOOLS from Ableton is a game changer.

Learn about the different ways of patching and controlling your instruments to trigger events within your analog setup and with Ableton. This is where the magic starts to happen!
MODULE 6 - ABLETON CV-TOOLSReady to get serious? This module makes you familiar with every single Ableton CV TOOL, what they are capable of and how to set them up and use them with your external hardware. Watching this will trigger many points of inspiration, since a lot of what you see was not possible before!
MODULE 7 - THE CLOCKHow do you sync all different systems and instruments - analog and digital? In this Module you will go through all possible methods and learn how to set up a working clock for your track.

Drum sounds and grooves are probably the most important element of almost every electronic music production. Composing, sequencing and humanising grooves is therefore a huge part of the process. This section shows you how to utilise the benefits of analog and digital gear to come up with drums like never before.
MODULE 9 - LET’S MAKE MUSIC - PRACTICAL SESSIONThe moment you’ve been waiting for. In this session you can follow along as Attila uses all methods and techniques to create music with analog gear in Ableton Live. From Drum Code over Twisted Melodies to cool Techno Loops.
MODULE 10 - RECORDING YOUR SETUPCongrats, you have got your song! Now in this section you learn everything to record it in Ableton Live. Tricks to troubleshoot delays and latencies, gain staging and how to record multiple tracks at the same time.

Your Instructor
Attila Hanak, Founder of The Sixteenth Bar, a company established to create one-of-a-kind custom Sample Packs for Electronic Music Producers. The Sixteenth Bar is also dedicated to spread the knowledge of Music Production, and has a substantial YouTube channel offering tutorials on all aspects of Electronic Music Production. Attila's career began DJ-ing in Hungary from 1993 to 1999 and he was a substantial part of the reason why Electronic Music exploded there in the 90’s. Attila built his own studio from the ground up, designed and fabricated a massive synthesizer setup called OSCAR. OSCAR boasts over 100 Eurorack format modules, a number of standalone synthesizers such as the MOOG Sub 37, DFAM and Mother 32, the Arturia MiniBrute, and 2 drum machines. Attila uses OSCAR much like an Electronic Orchestra, to create unique textures in his own Music, as well as to make sure that every sample pack he designs for a client is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. Attila designed the entire studio in a way where all the hardware synths and external gear can be controlled from a central DAW with nearly the same flexibility as using virtual instruments.
