Hi! My name is Yannek Maunz and today I want to show you my favourite Diva patches which I made for the Organica sample pack I made together with Brascon.
Today we’re going to be taking a look at this patch:
Let’s make it from scratch in Diva.
First, once we have the initialised preset, let’s start by setting up the oscillator.
I chose the “Dual VCO” mode, but you can use whichever mode you like.
We’re going to be using a saw wave along with noise:

We’ll use the “Analog Envelope” to increase the release time of Envelope 1:
I chose the Cascade filter for this sound with a 12 dB per octave slope:

We can now increase the influence of LFO 2 on the cutoff:

With the LFO, we want to choose the “Saw Down” wave.
In the sync section let’s choose 1/32.
We’ll also increase the “Delay” so that we have a smooth beginning of the LFO action.
We can also set up Envelope 2 to control the rate of the LFO.

We can also tweak the envelope 2 to manipulate the speed of the LFO:

We can also add in some external audio effects in Ableton Live:
We are using Sidechain Compression, EQ boosting highs, Hybrid Reverb, Auto Pan and Chorus-Ensemble.
Final Result:
Thank you for checking out this sound and see you soon on Production Music Live.
